FRANCE, Paris: Three veiled women attend the service one week following the terrorist attacks, renowned French conductor Hugues Reiner led a 400-strong orchestra and choir in their performance of famous Mozart melodies on November 20, 2015. Several thousand people attended the concert and collectively sang the French national anthem, the Marseillaise. Among the speakers at the event were the conductor Hugues Reiner, Danielle Simonnet representing the French government, and the catholic priest of Saint Sulpice church. Performers included Joachim Bresson (tenor), Jacques Calatayud (baritone), Olga Gurkovska (alto) and Claudine Margely (soprano). Conductor Hugues Reiner called for solidarity and resistance against terrorism.
