Belgium, Bruges, the belfry with the flags of the city
Bruges - Belgium - March 28, 2021: The Belfry of Bruges is a high medieval tower surmounting the Cloth Hall on the Grote Markt in the city of Bruges, in the province of West Flanders in Belgium. It is a civil monument, built in several stages from the thirteenth to the fifteenth century, which was the symbol of the municipal independence of Bruges, an important commercial city in the Middle Ages. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with other belfries from Belgium and France.
