Holocaust Deportation Memorial
The Memorial des Martyrs de la Deportation was opened in 1962 as a memorial to the 200,000 people deported from Vichy France to the Nazi concentration camps during World War II. Opposite the entrance is a stark iron gate made of triangles supported on poles to represent the coloured triangles worn by the concentration camp inmates.
