Old conquistador's Town Cuenca in Ecuador
Cuenca, Ecuador, Latin America. Cuenca (full name Santa Ana de los cuatro r��os de Cuenca), capital of the province of Azuay, is located in the sierra of the Andes in the Austro (southern region) of Ecuador. It was founded on April 12, 1557. The center of the city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Trust site.
