Statue of John of Nepomuk on Charles Bridge
Statue of John of Nepomuk from 1683 to Charles Bridge is the most religiously and the first of a series of statues of saints on the Charles Bridge, which became one of the main focuses cult of St John of Nepomuk and a model for its representation. The statue represents the alleged martyr of the confessional, was hoisted to the expected three hundred years anniversary of the dropping of John of Nepomuk from the Charles Bridge to the Vltava river.
