Foghorn pointing out to Sea
We see a white building which holds a large reddish foghorn. The foghorn is pointing out to sea. Surrounding the building we see typical seashore plants and grasses, with the sea in the background, and a blue cloudy sky. Underneath the foghorn building are metamorphic rocks, made up of limestone and calcareous schists, which are part of the Kinnaird Head group of rocks. This is taken at Kinnaird Head, Fraserburgh in Grampian in the North East of Scotland. Although Fraserburgh is better known as a fishing port this area is part of a site of special scientific interest (SSSI).
