PARAGUAY - WORKERS RIGHTS - CRUCIFIXION PROTEST
PARAGUAY, Greater Asuncion: 23 bus drivers from the firm Line 49, including one woman, lie crucified in front of the Labor, Employment and Social Security Ministry in Asuncion, on September 14, 2015. It has been 76 days since they started to protest after being dismissed by the company. More and more of the protesters have turned to crucifixion during this period to raise awareness of their cause. Some of them have also sewn their lips together on hunger strike.
