LONDON - ARMS FAIR - WEAPONS - DSEI

UNITED KINGDOM, London: The Defence and Security International Exhibition (DSEI) began in London on September 15, 2015 despite a week of direct action protests by peace campaigners. The arms fair has seen over 30,000 people descend on London to see the 1,500 exhibitors who are displaying weapons of war from pistols and rifles up to tanks, assault helicopters and warships. Protesters attempted to block the main road into the exhibition, claiming that such an event strengthened the UK's ties to human rights abuses.
