LEBANON - GARBAGE CRISIS - #YOUSTINK PROTEST

LEBANON, Beirut: As part of the ongoing #YouStink movement, protesters rally in Beirut, Lebanon on September 17, 2015, calling for the release of activists who have been arrested. On September 16, close to 40 were reportedly arrested. The ongoing waste-management crisis was caused by the closure of an over-capacity landfill on July 17, with the government reportedly failing to find an alternative site for the city's waste in time.
