CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC, Bangui : Vehicles of the United Nations Multidimensional Stabilization Mission in Central African Republic, Minusca, passe on a street in Bangui, as it patrols in the city, on October 8, 2015. The Central African Republic descended into bloodshed more than two years ago after long time president Francois Bozize, a Christian, was ousted by Seleka rebels, triggering the worst crisis since independence in 1960. On September 29, 2015, Bangui returned to only relative calm after three days of inter-community violence which left at least 40 dead and 100 injured according to the UN Refugee Agency UNHCR. Some 27,000 inhabitants of Bangui have also fled to displaced people's camps.
