TURKEY - ANKARA - BOMBING AT PEACE RALLY
TURKEY, Ankara: Distraught bystanders look over bodies after two explosions in the Turkish capital of Ankara killed nearly 100 people on October 10, 2015.The bombs went off near the main train station in the city. According to officials the bombs went off at a peace rally killing 97 and injuring 400 more.The rally was being held to call for an end to the conflict between the Turkish Government and the Kurdish PKK. As many as 14,000 people were at the rally when two suicide bombers detonated themselves in the crowd. No group has claimed responsibility yet for the attack. The death toll is expected to climb.
