Bicolor monkshood flower is toxic beauty
Purple and white monkshood flower is beautiful, but this perennial is toxic if eaten. Other names for lovely, poisonous monkshood are aconite, wolf's bane, tiger's bane, dog's bane, devil's helmet, Queen of all Poisons, or blue rocket. Location is Anchorage's Alaska Botanic Garden.
