ARGENTINA, Buenos Aires: A protester stands outside the courthouse in Buenos Aires, Argentina on December 29, 2015 as a trial is underway for dozens of defendants in the infamous train crash at Once Station. Their sentences are expected to be handed down this afternoon. The accident, which left 51 people dead, occurred on February 22, 2012. Among the reported 28 defendants are former transport secretaries Ricardo Jaime and Juan Pablo Schiavi; the train's operator, Marcos Cordoba; and brothers Mario and Sergio Cirigliano, a pair of powerful businessmen suspected of having kept government subsidies that were to be spent on train maintenance. Their sentences are expected to be handed down this afternoon.
