HONG KONG - CHINA - MISSING BOOKSELLERS - PROTEST
CHINA, Hong Kong: Crowds gather calling for free speech and the 'One Country Two Systems' principle to persevere on January 10, 2016, in response to the disappearance of five booksellers from Hong Kong. This is the second such protest in a week and indicates a growing unease in Hong Kong as residents fear that perhaps allegation agents from mainland China have abducted the booksellers and brought them back to China for questioning. The five booksellers were known for their critique of China's Communist party leaders, especially president Xi Jinping.
