NIGER-TAHOUA-POLITICS-ELECTION
NIGER, Tahoua: Presidential candidate and head of MDR Tarna Party Dr Adal Rhoubeid visits Tahoua, southern Niger, on February 11, 2016 during his political campaign. He returned to the capital, Niamey, at the end of January 2016 after being questioned over attacks in a hotel and cafe in Burkina Faso that killed 30 people. He is Tuareg, a nomadic people based in Saharan parts of Niger. MDR Tarna Party was founded only in July, 2015, but in few months of it's existence already changed radically the political scene in Niger. The country's presidential election is scheduled for February 21, 2016.
