FRANCE - MIGRANTS - CAMP - CALAIS
FRANCE, Calais: Migrants walk in the southern part of the so-called Jungle migrant camp in Calais, northern France, which is being dismantled, on March 13, 2016. France's first international-standard refugee camp opened on March 7 destined to shelter migrants and refugees living in dire conditions in nearby makeshift camps as they attempt to reach the United Kingdom. Some two hectares of the Jungle were destroyed the previous week, and authorities said it could take a month or more to demolish the southern half of the camp. Local authorities say there were between 800 and 1,000 migrants living in the southern half, while aid groups say there were around 3,500.
