MACEDONIA, Skopje: Thousands take to the streets for the first day of massive protests against the president's shock decision to halt probes into more than 50 public figures embroiled in a wire-tapping scandal in Skopje, capital city, northern Macedonia, on April 12, 2016. Some protests in the capital had turned violent, when demonstrators ransacked the offices used by President Gjorge Ivanov team and set fire to the furniture.
