This species is erect trunk and large shrub which has cream to whitish papery bark. The leaves are smooth and soft light to dark green, linear-lanceolate shape. The flowes are masses of dense fluffy dominate white and these spike on top of branch or main stem in late spring to early summer at June to July. a small- to medium-sized tree of myrtle family, Myrtaceae in white bottlebrush bloom attracts honey bees.
