Monument to Peter M. Gideon and the Wealthy Apple vintage illust
The Wealthy was the earliest apple cultivar to thrive in the Minnesota climate. Horticulturalist Peter Gideon grew it first in 1864, after years of trial. The monument was erected in 1912, vintage line drawing or engraving illustration.
