Explorer John Franklin memorial, London
Bronze frieze depicting the heroism of the British Explorer John Franklin who led series of expeditions across the Arctic in search of the North West Passage. His final voyage in 1845 using two ships - HMS Erebus and HMS Terror ended in disaster with the death of all the men on board in the North Canadian region of Nunavut. Public monument on display over 100 years.
