Traditional sticky rice cooked in bamboo as street food as found in Cambodia
Sweet sticky rice cooked in a traditional way by roadside traders as street food, known as kralen in Cambodia. The bamboo is stuffed with rice sweetend with coconut or soya bean and then baked over open coals or charcoal. Thma Krae village in Kratie Province has become well known for its kralan. Found on the roadsides between Siem Reap and Battambang. Often eaten just as snack.
