This magnificent reproduction of one of the emblematic ships of the French navy, the Hermione.
Several frigates carried this mythological name in the French Navy. Another Hermione was built under the First Empire at the Lorient arsenal by the company of the Crucy brothers. In 1793, the Hermione was engaged in the mouth of the Loire to support the republican troops against the Vendeans.
