Chinese bridge, at Island Hall in Godmanchester.
Godmanchester has two Chinese bridges, this is the smaller of the two. The original was built around 1800, to link the garden of Island Hall with its ornamental island. In 1972 the original bridge was destroyed when it was in an advanced state of decay. This replica was built in 1986. The town's larger and more famous Chinese Bridge which was built in 1827.
