Giant Size of Youtiao/ The Giant Size Pathongko/ The Extra Size of Deep-Fried Doughstick
Youtiao (Chinese name) is very famous in Southeast Asia especially Chinese where the origin country of Youtiao. In Thailand, it is generally called Pathongko due to a confusion with a different kind of dessert. Youtiao called Chinese oil stick, Chinese donut, Chinese cruller, fried bread stick- is a long, golden-brown, deep fried strip of dough. Youtiao or Pathongko is lightly salted and made so they can be torn lengthwise in two. Youtiao are normally eaten as an accompaniment for rice congee or soy milk. In Thailand, Pathongko is also dipped into condensed milk or, in the South, eaten with kaya.
